Too much brain in my head

Nichts


Art catalogue designed in 2006 by Raffinerie for the exhibition "Nichts" (Nothing) that was presented in Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt. An exhibition filled with "a diverse, shimmering nothing" curated by Martina Weinhart. Raffinerie is one of the best design studios in Zurich.

lennyjpg



Experimental and magical. These are the two words that I would use to describe the work of Leander Herzog. Leander, also known as lennyjpg, is a designer from Switzerland that I met through flickr some years ago. In 2007, I invited him to participate to "My favourite Game" a parallel design exhibition of "Ten Images for Ithaca". He used the name Jare back then. Check out his work at flickr here.

NAS


Remo Caminada won a Gold Award at the European Design Awards for the packaging of Andreas Caminada food products. While I was searching in his website thought I found a lot of amazing typographic posters. This is one of them. If you want to see the winning packaging follow this link.

Schauspielhaus


Raffinerie is one of the best design studios I saw in Zurich. It was not in the ED Conference but it was in one of the design walks that were organized as parallel events. On the communication material they produced for Schauspielhaus, Gill Sans Ultra Bold is the protagonist.
