Meyoko

"Melissa Murillo who is also known under her alias Meyoko, is an Artist based in Berlin. Her early years were divided between a small town and the inner city of Paris. Meyoko is a self-taught artist obsessed with details, ephemera, nature and dreams. The relationship between man and machine is another obvious fascination as she often juxtaposes organic and mechanical images to form surreal and whimsical narratives."

I can only add that her work is the most amazing illustration work I have ever seen!

Daniela Witzel

Daniela Witzel is an illustrator. She lives in Kassel, Germany. I visited Kassel two years ago to see the Documenta exhibition. I loved the exhibition and the city. I know that in Kassel there is a great school for graphic design as well but I don't remember the name. My friends Pi6 have studied there too. I don't know where Daniela has studied but her work is great! See Daniela's beautiful illustrations here, or check out her blog.

Stitch-Me

"Andrea Tinnes is a type and graphic designer based in Berlin. Through her own label, typecuts, she publishes as well as promotes all her type designs. Following Jeffery Keedy's paradigm keep the inconsistencies consistent typecuts typefaces seek to explore the relation between clear geometric construction and playful decorative form while considering historical contexts as well as contemporary tendencies in type design." This poster was designed in 2001 for the typeface Stitch-Me.

O SUPERMAN!

Record sleeve designed by the Berlin based design firm HORT. Searching on their website I found that HORT is "A creative playground. A place where 'work and play' can be said in the same sentence. An unconventional working environment." Their work is fresh and unconventional. Their work divert as their clients.
